Smart Bookmark Organizer ("the extension") is published by MetaSeller. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.

Data the extension accesses

• Bookmarks — to create category folders, move and sort your bookmarks and remove duplicates.
• Browsing history — to count visits to each page (so the most-used links appear first), to suggest frequently visited sites, and to build the daily report shown in the extension.

How the data is handled

• All processing happens locally in your browser. The extension has no server and makes no network requests with your data.
• Your settings, custom rules, a one-time bookmark backup and up to 30 daily reports are stored with Chrome's storage on your device. Settings may be synced by Chrome Sync to your own signed-in browsers.
• We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data, bookmarks or history with anyone.
• No analytics, advertising identifiers or tracking are used.

The dashboard contains a link to metaseller.net. Opening it is your choice; that site has its own privacy policy.

Removing data

Uninstalling the extension deletes all data it stored. Your bookmarks remain organized in Chrome.
